читать дальшеSpoiler's for the first two episodes of The L Word: Don't read the rest of the post if you would like to remain spoiler free. They contain a load of information regarding the first two episodes, although I'll admit that the information is mainly Tibette centric. They were posted at TWoP by SaabStory and complied by MathGeek at Tibette.com! I've been reading them at TWoP as they are posted and SaabStory has posted screen captures along with all of her spoilers.
As posted by MathGeek: Anything in []'s are my own comments in order to clarify a thing or two.
EP 1: 1st 5 minutes is 3 months after Lez Girls and rest of episode is Night of Lez Girls wrap party and next morning as follows:
The first five minutes is LL coming to Bette's house to ask a few questions about a body being found in the pool. Shane and Bette are wet so it appears as though they were also in the pool at some point. When LL asks who owns the house, Bette says, "I do". She does introduce Tina as her partner and that is when LL tells Bette she has a beautiful family. [This is when Jenny's body is pulled out on the stretcher. After the first five minutes of this, which is the crime scene, the episode jumps back to the night of the wrap party and goes on from there. Also, LL is Lucy Lawless. She plays a detective, but I am forgetting what her name is on the show.
Angie is sick. Bette reads the thermometer wrong and thinks it is like 104 degrees...they go to the hospital and get the "who is the mother" question to which Bette gives them an earful too. Bette also screams at the hospital desk person and calls her something funny...bureaucratic maggot is coming to mind, but I will double check later. Then at the end of her tirade, she says, "please".
TiBette have two nice scenes. One when they are buckling Angie in the car seat after the hospital visit. Tina pulls one of her, "that's one of the things I love about you" comments. So they established that they are committed and they seem really solid to me. Tina is strong, not wishy washy or needy.
Tina has an air of confidence to her this season which is nice to see. She is no longer "Bette Porter's partner". She has her own voice, etc. And for the most part, she looks great.
The second is at the end of E1 where Bette gets all misty and apologizes to Tina for defending Shane and Tina is okay with it since they fall on different sides on this issue. [The issue being Shane having slept with Nikki.]
TiBette - they spend several scenes on different sides of the Shane/Jenny fiasco culminating in the scene in the car on the way home from the hospital with Bette making a commitment to Tina. Apparently Tina didn't think that Bette had promised anything.
Bette: Given my history, I don't want to be casual about the promise I made to you.
Tina: I didn't know you made any promises
Bette: Well, I am making a promise to you right now. I promise that I share your values about family and faithfulness and commitment and that I will never ever cheat on you again.
Tina is a little taken aback and shocked and just says "wow" quietly.
It's a good scene.
E2:
Rock, Papers, Scissors.
Yes, they do play it and yes Tina wins and Bette says, "I always lose" and Tina says, "you're always rock" and Bette says, "is that why?" and Tina smiles. “Have fun with the martyrs” says Bette and Tina replies “Have fun with the cheaters.” More details later.
[Jesse is what everyone seems to be calling Kelly Wentworth, a.k.a. Elizabeth Berkley who played Jesse Spano on Saved By the Bell. So whenever you read "Jesse," they mean Elizabeth's character, Kelly Wentworth.] Bette runs into Jesse at the same gallery opening where she fights with Jodi. They get all kiss and giggly and Jesse is all look at your body are you still a runner and Bette is all fake blushing and they are going on and on and Bette is forgetting that Tina is standing right next to her and then is finally like, Oh, this is my partner Tina Kennard.
Jesse Spano tells Tina what a player Bette was in college. And that Jesse let Bette kiss her but it only took Bette two minutes to get over her...and Bette was like, ten minutes. Jesse Spano is divorced from a millionaire and has a ton of money. It is her gallery, but Bette thinks the show was a mess.
Tina was teasing Bette about flirting and Bette's like, what, you don't flirt? and Tina's like, of course I do, but it is different with you. It feeds you. To which Bette tells Tina to just trust that she knows herself and Tina's like I have no idea what that means and then Bette tells her she only wants Tina and starts to undo Tina's belt............and you know the rest. It looks like it might be hot... It ends quickly after they hit the bed. The "foreplay" before the shirts come off is better than post bed dive as seen in promo.
Let me add that the scene that I just described above happened in their bedroom and it was actually a nice scene between them. It sets the stage for Tina being okay with Bette being all flirty with Jesse at dinner. In fact, Jesse Spano asks Tina if she minds that she (Jesse) flirts so shamelessly with Bette and Tina was like flirt away...Bette knows what will happen if she cheats.
Jodi is being all bitchy to Bette. Bette is trying to schedule an appt with her and Jodi isn't responding. Bette tells her that at school, she still reports to her. And then Jodi was all like I don't report to anyone.
Bette wants Jodie to resign. She said she was willing when they were together but not now. Bette said resign or I will fire you. Phyllis had to remind Bette that that is sexual harrassment and then reminds Bette about another instance (Nadia). Phyliis takes Bette out for a drink and fires Bette, but then tells Bette that she has always had a crush on her and tries to kiss her.
Bette and Tina announce they are on three lists and they should be able to adopt within six months. They are also putting a second story on their house, but we have not seen any construction yet.
Info on Tina and bit on ep 5:
Tina has a side story going on with her job. She is pissed about the ending change and is trying to fight it. She calls William (on Bette's advice) and he hangs up on her. Aaron is totally ignoring her and she is angry. The negative of the film is missing and people think Tina took it. I think she loses her job in E5.
Tina and Bette are out to dinner with Jesse Spano. Jessie and Bette are being all flirty, but Tina seems to be okay with it. I guess allowing Bette to be Bette. Tina sees the executives from her company having dinner and she wasn't invited which makes her realize she has lost her job too. Bette goes over to the table to give them an earful. They say something about not wanting to work with dykes, so then Tina gives them an earful.
Bette goes over to the table full of Tina's co-workers at a restaurant and begins to rail into them. Tina stops her and tells her can fight her own battles. Bette acknowledges it. But is is cool to see Bette get all protective of Tina. She friggin' struts over to the table on a mission. (This is in E5, which I only FF'd through, so....) Love how Bette's bearing her teeth and is like 'Let me at them' and Tina's holding her back 'Down Bette...down!'
Some extra tid-bits:
- Max is pregnant with Tom's baby, and has a beard.
- Helena and Kit open a club named The Hit Club.
- It's believed that Alice is the one who ends up paying for Jenny's death. Alice's spin-off is entitled The Farm and is based on life in prison. Why else would Alice be in prison, right?
- Alice and Tasha are having relationship problems and so Bette and Tina suggest that they see Dan Foxworthy. They do, and something was also mentioned about there being a third wheel in Alice and Tasha's relationship.
- Alice goes to Papi's place looking for Tasha and finds Papi in bed with Gabby. This is probably the funniest/best spoiler thus far, in my opinion.

И кто это с Элис на крыше!!??
and has a beard
